The New Year rolls in!

Starting in 2020, I am not doing any resolutions. I try to use each day, sometimes each hour, as a chance for a restart, refresher, new beginning. Filling my cup with Rachel and Dave Hollis has been a game changer for me in life. One thing I love to do is cook, bake, feed my family, and pack my lunch.

With my crazy work schedule, hello budgeting, I try to be prepared. I at least need an idea of what I'm throwing on the table!! Let's be real, fast food and vending machines suck real fast and aren't good for fueling my body. That's something else I learned this year was to FUEL MY BODY. I was under eating or overeating. I'm in the medical field and I work so flipping hard. I wasn't feeding myself properly and my energy tanked completely. I have high goals for working out, and getting out of this beginner runner stage. Not eating enough is not an option. 

My lunches need to be quick, somewhat healthy, and satisfying. 

I am going to get this blog going on my journey of what I'm doing in 2020 with my self, and my family. That is exactly what this is is my journey. I'm sharing this with high hopes that I can see progress and improvement in my life! 

I'm going to talk budgeting on here. That is a huge area in my life that if it's good, it's good. If it's bad, it's really bad. Let's GOOOOOOO!!

Earning fuel points

I was so excited when I got the chance to receive extra fuel points!! I received them thru my magazine sharing network. These points help me save money at the pump. I already do most of my grocery shopping at Kroger so earning points is easy. They always list your current points balance near the bottom of your Kroger receipt. All I do extra at the pump is click yes that I'm a Kroger rewards member, and enter my phone number, put my credit card in and that's it. If you need to pay the cashier, you just give her your phone number before you pay. Money saved! Score!!

Homemade Trail Mix

Jolly Vox Box

I received my first box from Influenster a few weeks ago. I was so excited to receive this after completing surveys and reviews off and on over the past year. I honestly didn't think it would amount to anything, but it has. I'm here to tell you about the products I received and whether I like them. The Puffs have come in very handy as my family has had colds for the past couple weeks. I have purchased these before and I will continue to repurchase.

 The Rimmel Lip Lacquer was much more then I expected. It goes on smooth, not sticky, and lasts a decent amount of time. I received a summer color so I want to go buy more shades in this.

 The eye shadow trio in Long Beach Sands from NYC New York Color has been my go to everyday, get out the door type product. It looks like I put some effort in, but not over the top. It's great for work, school, and just everyday. The lightest shade brightens my eyes, and makes me look more refreshed.

 I received a cute, fun duck tape. I was surprised at how strong the stuff is. I didn't expect it to work, but it definitely lives up to it's name. I'm excited to know I can reach for this when I need a strong tape, but it's pretty at the same time.

 My all time favorite product I received is something that I never would have purchased if I hadn't received this box. When I hear low calorie, I think lacking in flavor, not filling, or satisfying. I was very wrong on this. They were delicious. I didn't even need a whole individual package to satisfy my chocolate/peanut butter craving. That is very unusual. Typically, I always go back for more. My family loved them.

Great Neutral Eyeshadow

I'm reviewing the eye shadow trio from #NYCNewYork Color HD Color in #781. The trio name is Long Beach Sands. I love the colors. I have been wearing this a lot lately. It's not the most pigmented, but for someone like me who likes to look like I did something without trying to hard, it's perfect. This does have a satiny finish, and smooth to the touch, but slightly powdery. I just tap off my brush before I pack it on my eyelids. I think this shows up better in person, but I took some pictures anyway. My favorite way to apply this is the lightest shade all over my lid, and the middle shade in my crease. That light shade really brightens up my eyes, and helps me look more awake and refreshed. I will continue to use this, and will probably repurchase because it is so perfect for rushed mornings. Puffs Ultra Soft & Strong Review

I have a review on the Puffs Ultra Soft & Strong tissue. I have had a cold over the past week and these have come in very handy. They are extremely soft, and not harsh on sensitive skin.
